Four steps, and only the first one is yours to do.

Suggest the dates that could work
Open the planner, name what you are planning, and tick the days you have in mind. Add a start time if the hour matters, or leave it blank and it counts as the whole day. Most people are done in under a minute.

Add the people
One email address per line. When you confirm your own address, everyone gets an invitation with a link straight to your dates. There is no sign-up form on the other end - opening the link is all it takes, and it doubles as their way in if they ever come back.

Everyone answers
Yes, no, or maybe for each date, with room to say why. "Only after eight" and "away that week" are far more useful to you than a bare no. Anyone can also suggest a place, and the others can back it.

You pick the date
The date that suits the group most is highlighted for you, but the decision stays yours. Lock it in and everyone who asked to hear about it gets an email with the calendar invitation attached.
About those emails
Only one email is unavoidable: the invitation itself, because without it nobody would know your get-together exists. Everything else - reminders before the day, the announcement when a date is chosen, a nudge when someone answers - starts switched off. You turn on what you want, per get-together, and you can change your mind at any time.
About signing in
There is no password to choose, so there is none to leak. Your account is proven by opening a link we email you, and after that you can save a passkey so your device signs you in with Face ID, Touch ID or your fingerprint. You can name your passkeys, see when each was last used, and remove any you no longer trust.
Why not just a poll in the group chat?
Because a poll asks about one date, and then scrolls away. This asks about all of them at once, keeps every answer next to the date it belongs to, and is still there tomorrow.
